If you use the try-on, we take the photograph you upload, generate a picture of a haircut on it, and show it to you and to the barbershop you chose. We delete the photograph and the generated picture after thirty days, automatically. We do not sell them, we do not share them with anybody else, and we do not use them to train anything. You can ask us to delete them sooner and we will.
Some states treat a photograph used to identify or depict a person's face as a biometric identifier. We treat every photograph that way, everywhere, whichever state you are in.
When you upload a photograph to the try-on, MarsBazaar LLC collects and stores that photograph and the images generated from it. We ask for your agreement on screen before the file leaves your device — if you do not agree, nothing is uploaded.
For one purpose only: to show you what a haircut might look like on you, and to show that picture to the barbershop you chose so they know what you are asking for. Nothing else.
Thirty days from upload. Every uploaded file is stamped with a deletion date when it is written — it is not possible to store one here without a deletion date — and a scheduled job deletes the file and its record when that date passes. The record that a booking happened is kept for our accounts; the photograph is not part of that record.
We do not sell, lease, trade or otherwise profit from your photograph, and we do not disclose it except as above or where the law requires it.
Email contact@marsbazaar.dev and ask us to delete your photographs, your account, or both. We will, and we will tell you when it is done.
Only what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember your basket. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics that follow you elsewhere.
Our map includes barbershops taken from OpenStreetMap, published there as business information. If you own a shop and want its listing removed, email contact@marsbazaar.dev and we will remove it.
Barber Studio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their photographs. A parent or guardian may use it on a child's behalf. If you believe a child has uploaded a photograph, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle photographs we will say so on this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
